Queen Jamillia, Reception Gown
Attack of the Clones

Jamillia’s gown, made from black cloque and heavily embroidered velvet, has a large, vintage jet frontpiece and hand-cut abalone shell headdress.

To make the hundreds of prequel costumes, Trisha Biggar created a wardrobe facility with 60 to 100 people, including cutters, sewers, dyers, beaders, milliners, mold makers and jewelers. Biggar worked closely with the concept designers, visual effects supervisors, and the production art department to make sure her costumes would exist harmoniously with digital sets, cloth simulations, and computer-generated aliens. Thousands of hours and countless decisions went into creating the fantastic costumes that form such an integral part of the Star Wars™ galaxy.
